Throughout the year, our team hosts and attends a variety of community events!
Dog House Building Workshops
Workshops are hosted in our partner Nations, with attendees building their own dog house to take home at the end of the day!
We accept donations of supplies and tools for this program. We also accept pre-built donated dog houses. If you have a dog house, supplies, or tools you wish to donate, please contact us. Tax receipts can be provided for donations valued over $25.00.
Community Dinners
Our community dinners offer an opportunity for community members in our partner Nations to come learn about our programs and meet members of our team. Dinners also provide a valuable opportunity for community members to share their concerns or successes with us related to their Nation’s dog population, and provide us with ideas of what they would like to see for successful programming in the future.
Event attendance
We enjoy attending Treaty Days, powwows, or other events in our partner Nations to meet community members and share knowledge with one another.
We also attend events outside of our partner Nations such as pet expos and conference tradeshows to share information about our programs and learn more about other organizations.
