Canine Action Project

Volunteer

Volunteers are a critical component of Canine Action Project and needed 365 days a year.

We are so grateful for those who choose to volunteer and share their valuable time and knowledge with us.

Canine Action Project categorizes our volunteers in two ways

Must be licensed and in good standing with the Saskatchewan Veterinary Medical Association (SVMA) at the time of volunteer dates. Medical volunteers can volunteer for medical and general volunteer roles!

While animal handling skills are an asset for many of our programs, we also have opportunities for those who may not be comfortable handling dogs. This could include things such as donation item pick ups, attending a community event booth, or helping at dog house building workshops to name a few.
