Meagan is of Metis, French and Scottish ancestry, born and raised in north central Saskatchewan. She has over 12 years of experience in the animal welfare industry, from humble beginnings at a pet boarding kennel, to an animal shelter, and today, working with First Nations to help humanely manage their dog populations. Meagan volunteered at her first onsite spay/neuter clinic with Canine Action Project in 2014 and has been with the organization ever since. Her favourite part about CAP is seeing pets that were spayed/neutered many years ago still thriving in their communities with their families.
